Continue ShoppingOne of the most popular resorts at Walt Disney World is Disney’s Pop Century Resort. It may be popular because of how over-the-top the Disney and pop culture theming is. When you add in the new Disney Skyliner System, offering quick and easy access from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Disney’s Boardwalk area, it makes this resort even more appealing!
If you’re into pop culture, like newly refurbished rooms, looking for a good Value Resort and enjoy massive iconic visuals, you definitely need to check out Disney’s Pop Century resort.
View of Pop Century room with the Murphy Bed (Left) down. This is a great configuration for when you need both beds. If you do not need both beds, you can leave the Murphy Bed up (seen below) and have an added table and LOTS more space!

There is a sliding door that provides additional privacy for the shower and toilet area.
The food court area at Disney’s Pop Century is massive and offers Quick Service and snack options. There’s also a pool bar at the main pool that offers a small menu of options.
The gift shop offers a wide selection of Disney snacks and popular brand snacks as well.
For additional food options, you also have easy access to the food court at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – it’s just a short walk away.
Pop Century does not have any table service options. However, it’s easy to jump on the Disney Skyliner and go to the International Gateway at Epcot, putting you in close proximity to Disney’s Boardwalk, Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club. Plus, you can easily get to table service restaurants in Hollywood Studios and Pop Century, too!
**Pro Tip**
Grocery Delivery – Get your groceries / snacks delivered by Amazon, Target or Instacart.com (Publix) and save money by eating breakfast in the room and getting your own bottled water and snacks.
The value resorts are 100% Disney when it comes to how you are treated and the way you are immersed in the Disney experience. The moderate resorts are going to be just a bit nicer, offer more amenities and be a bit more plush.
Value Resorts only have quick service dining options (no table service) but the Moderate Resorts have booth table service and quick service options.
In my opinion, the moderate resorts have a bit more curb appeal to them when it comes to building design, landscaping and lobby decor. However, for kids, I believe the Value Resorts are more visually enticing and exciting because of the massive structures and vibrant colors.
As far as room size goes, both moderate and value fall in the same size range.
And of course, one of the biggest differences is price. Moderates are definitely a step up (or two) when it comes to the cost of booking a room.

Pop Century is pretty much located in the center of Walt Disney World so it’s rather convenient to get around Disney World Property. That said, Walt Disney World is over 40 square miles of fun and magic, so you definitely have to plan ahead as you go throughout Disney World.
I’ll share some of the most frequently visited locations and the best ways to get there below.
