Snacks, Disney Style!

Snacks, Disney Style!

One of my favorite things about Disney is all of the amazing snack options there are to choose from.  As many of us do, I have my favorites which are Dole Whips, Mickey Bars and Rice Krispie Treats!!

I thought it would be fun to talk about all of my favorite snacks and where you can find them.

My first LOVE is a Mickey Bar, you can find them anywhere there is an ice cream cart.  I am not sure what sort of magic they put in there, but they are YUMMY!!!  And of course, you must take a picture of your amazing snack before you take the first bite.

Coming in a close second is the Dole Whip.  It’s hard to explain what exactly a Dole Whip is other than to say it’s a bit of pineapple heaven.  You can get the soft serve in a cup as well as a Dole Whip float, which is Dole Whip in pineapple juice.

There have been some new versions of the Dole Whip popping up around the parks so you will want to keep your eyes open for this deliciousness!   Dole Whips can be found in several locations.  Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs, Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal Kingdom, Refreshment Port in Epcot and last but not least Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.  This is a MUST TRY if you have never had one.

I would rank Caramel Popcorn as my third favorite Disney snack.  It is so good.  I remember the first time I watched them make this at the Karamell Kuche in Epcot, I was amazed!  Watching them pour that hot caramel over the popcorn and stir it up made me even more excited to eat it.  To get the fresh made popcorn, but the bags that are on the counter, not the pre-packaged bags, although that is good as well, nothing compares to the freshly made and sometimes still warm caramel popcorn.

My fourth favorite Disney Snack would be the hand dipped corndog over at Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom.  When I went to Disneyland a few years ago we were told to get the corndogs, they were the best and they were!  I craved those corndogs when we got home.  I was so excited to find out that Disney World FINALLY had the same amazing corndogs and it was my first stop on that trip to Disney.  It’s a must have for each on of my Disney trips.

My final pick, although there are many more that I will save for another time, would be the Rice Krispie treats!  I always go for the Mickey shapes ones, everything tastes better if it’s Mickey shaped, right??  You can find these all around Walt Disney World.  They are also fun to take home to enjoy!

When Disney World closed because of Covid, I was sad, as were millions of others.  Most of us just wanted a piece of “HOME” to enjoy.  I decided to order a snack box from Mouse Marketplace and it was packed full of yummy Disney inspired treats from the Magical Treat Maker Jacob Price, that use to be a baker for Disney.  The smells and tastes from that box took me HOME and all was well with the world for a little while, until the snacks were gone.

If you miss HOME, order a snack box, grab your favorite ears, put on your Disney World attire and have a Disney Snack!  You won’t regret it!

Scrolling down Main Street,

Melissa
